Three Sisters

Sometimes when I'm taking pictures, things happen that I don't fully understand. Like all the cosmic cogs fall into place for a second for no apparent reason at all -- like you're being given a gift of a glimpse of something for just a moment before everything goes back to normal again. This photo is something like that. It was shot at a wedding reception this weekend; I was snapping shots of the people dancing, when I saw these two wee ones sitting at the edge of the dancefloor. So I sat down real quick and slid towards them... and then, for whatever reason, this little girl started praying. I had about a second and a half to take the picture, and this was the shot I ended up with. :)
