Saw this pooch while we stopped for gas in the Adirondacks of New York. He literally NEVER took his eyes off me -- never barked at me, either. Just gave me the "don't even THINK about it" stare.

Here's the last of the straggler shots from Washington, D.C. All these images remind me that I need to get out and shoot some more candids. It's a lot harder to get good candids in Lincoln, Nebraska (people tend to notice the camera), but you gotta work with what you got. :)

Sugarbush Farms Chapel

Today's photo is from the Sugarbush Farms chapel in Woodstock, Vermont. This chapel is a bit enigmatic -- it's not the kind of thing you'd expect in the middle of a wood. If you're in to very small, romantic weddings, they do rent the chapel out. Click to enlarge.

Heisenberg Highway

Today's photo was shot on a lark while me and my friend Josh were zipping down a Vermont highway after an evening of looking for (and eventually finding) moose. Bit abstracty, but I like it. I used a longish exposure and set my elbow on his Prius' center console so the vibration would translate up to the camera. Click to enlarge.

Watch that first step

This is a little bit of lens trickery. These stairs were pretty steep -- but nowhere near as steep as my wide angle lens would suggest. :) I shot this at High Falls Gorge in the Adirondacks of New York. Nice little stop-by-the-road, but in all honesty, I'm not sure why they charge such a high fee to visit the place. Click to enlarge.

The Road to Whiteface

Today's shot is from Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks of New York. We came across a great clearing off the highway and snapped some shots of the clouds scraping the peaks. This pictures makes me wish I still had a motorcycle! Click to enlarge.

That Tree Shot

Today's photos are from a car trip out into the Adirondacks with my best friend Josh. We came across a small patch of forest near a lake -- and I had to get the cliche "tree shot" that you always see with the wide-angles.
