I need to find me some interesting foreground!: )Awesome pic with the barn. Where is the light coming from that casts the tree shadows on the barn? Were you out long enough for the moon to come up? Very surreal looking. I want one for my office wall!My humble photo scans (favs) are here:http://mecurious.unk.edu/12142006/index.html
Why didn't you tell me this was going to happen?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? What if it happened up here? I hate you forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!By which I mean... beautiful shots. I love them all and I'm intensely jealous! Finally a subject worthy of your 10!!!
The Shadows on the barn appear to be "painted on".I don't understand how the lights in Lincoln, 15 miles away, could have enough brightness to produce that type of shadow effect and give shadows "in color"...? Great picture none the less.
anomy...the blurry stars hint that its a time lapse shot so the light on the barn could well have accumilated in a minute or more giving the illusion there is a giant spotlight causing the trees to appear as a negative image. At first I thought it was the moon but I think not because that much moonlight on a time lapse could wash it all out. Great shots all around.
