Cranes!



Prepare for Crane-o-geddeon! I have about a billion crane photos and I'm trying to whittle them down to the most interesting shots. Truth is, there's only so many ways you can capture a big bird wandering around in a field. :) Me n' Lanette had a great time driving around and clicking our cameras at them, though; it's hard to believe just how many birds stop over the plains on their way to Siberia. Here's a question... If they're heading back north to their breeding grounds... when did they come south in the first place? Why do we see them only once a year?
