I'd forgotten all about these -- when I was in York, I shot a series of HDR photos inside of York Minster, a gothic style structure much like a cathedral. All the below images were created using multiple photos (around 10 each), downsampled and processed with Photoshop CS3. Click to enlarge.

Such detailed architecture as this receives the royal treatment from any kind of HDR application of light. Beautiful.
How do you get all of the people out of the way for long enough to set up and take multiple pictures?
