Ginormous London Panorama from Bridge Street

Today's photo is of Big Ben, Parliment, and the London Eye -- a 360 degree panorama taken from Bridge Street. 16 photos total, stitched together with autostitch -- a very handy program! Note that this is a very large image if you click on it; however, it's still scaled down quite a bit, as the original is over 20,000 pixels wide!

Well, technically, you can't see Big Ben in the picture since Big Ben is a bell. ;) Still, it's an impressive photo - and congratulations!

  2. This is a cool shot! I have a dual monitor at work and stretched it across both screens.

  3. I only see about 270 degrees, I don't see the other side of the river, or am I missing something?

  4. Hmm -- looking at the stitch, it's probably missing about 20 or 30 degrees. The other side of the bridge would be either to the left of parliament or the right of the building at the very right. I probably snipped that part out of the pano out for composition purposes when I did the final crop. :) In reality, you can't see the other side of the river from that vantage point -- the bridge that you're standing on blocks the view.

Hi Ryan, I just read your HDR tutorial (very good, and clear!). Do you have a tutorial for Panoramic shots?
