Valley, Nebraska Embedded Supercell

This is a panorama near Valley, Nebraska, of the June 11th storm that went through Valley and later Omaha. This was a line of storms with embedded supercells that managed to put down surprising number of tornadoes, one of which killed several Boyscouts in Iowa. The original of this photo is almost 6000 pixels wide; it was stitched together with Photoshop CS4. Click to enlarge.

CS4? Do you have a time machine? :) All I see on Adobe's site is CS3...

Another fantastic shot. Funny thing, I've got an aunt and uncle who live in Valley, Neb., and once when I was visiting there, my aunt said to me that they thankfully never see tornadoes in Valley. I asked her why that was and she answered with completely straight face that they live in a valley. I looked around and couldn't imagine a less-valley-like flat landscape. I'm still not sure if she was serious or joking with me.

Nice way to slip your beta-tester status in there.
: )

I wondered if you got anything good from that chase day!

Wow! Nice shot! Is the stitching function improved in CS4?
